About Tim

Hi, I’m Tim and I’m a geek.  (Say it with me: Hi Tim!)  I currently work for Microsoft as a program manager for Microsoft Silverlight, a web technology aimed at delivering rich internet experiences to users.  Before this current role, I was a developer evangelist for Microsoft serving the Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, Montana and Utah areas aiming to strengthen and support communities and software developers in these geographies. 

I consider myself an early adopter of all things technology-related.  I have an addiction to gadgets and must have the latest of everything, much to the dismay of both my wife and my wallet.  I really enjoy learning as much as I can about all things tech to get a well rounded exposure of things that surround me.  I spend most of my time in software development spaces dealing with Microsoft technologies, but love to tinker in other things as well.

I live in Queen Creek, Arizona with my beautiful wife and two children.  I absolutely love our neighborhood and the friends we have all around us.  My wife and I love to travel, primarily to Mexico.  I consider myself a scuba diver, but haven’t been in a while (did you see the part about kids?) but have the most fun in and out of the water in Cancun, Mexico.  My rolling 5-year plan (it hasn’t come to pass yet) is to own a dive shop in Cancun.  Anyone want to loan me some money?
