cool, check it out, Salt Lake is doing an event similar to the AZGroups BetaDays event!

May 18th is “Betas 2005 Unleashed” day in Salt Lake City.

This is a great opportunity for your customers and partners to learn about Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005, two exciting products we are releasing later this year. It is a free training and will include some incredible sessions to help developers with a comprehensive understanding of these products. We also have some nice giveaways (including XBOX) and every attendee will get a VS 2005 Beta 2 DVD.

Date: May 18, 2005 8:30am - 5pm (registration and breakfast at 7:30am)

Location: Miller Free Enterprise Center (http://www.slcc.edu/miller/buildings/building3.htm)

In this video, Rick LaPlante addresses the six key questions that arose following the pricing and licensing announcement:

  1. What about the little guy?
  2. Why are you raising the price of MSDN Universal?
  3. Why don't I get the server when I buy the client?
  4. If you were a consultant, what would you buy?
  5. If I do all of the roles, which product do I buy?
  6. Didn't the “universal” in MSDN Universal mean I get everything?
